What happens to bookings?

We're accepting our last bookings on Gaest until June 1st. If you have a pending booking that takes place after July 1, 2019, we’ll make sure hosts get their booker’s contact info, so they can manage and fulfill the booking directly with the event booker.

Why is Gaest joining Airbnb?

Our team wants to make finding and booking unique event spaces the best it can be. That’s why we’re joining Airbnb—to become part of their global marketplace and connect more bookers with hosts.

Over the next few months, we’ll be working hard to get up and running again. In the meantime, sign up for email updates so you can be one of the first event space hosts to connect with Airbnb guests.

FAQ

I’m a host. Will I still be able to access my account and listing information?

Your account and listing info will be going away on July 1, 2019. Before that happens, we recommend saving all the photos and descriptions of your space somewhere safe, like to a computer file. If you forget, don’t worry—send an email to info@gaest.com and we’ll get you the info you need.

As a booker, will I be able to access my account and bookings?

When the Gaest.com website is closed down on July 1st, you will no longer be able to access your account info or bookings. We are working with hosts and asking that they honor your bookings. We’ll make sure you have their contact info so you can coordinate offline. If there are any issues, you can contact us at info@gaest.com.

I made a booking that will take place before July 1, 2019. Will it proceed as normal?

All bookings that take place before July 1st, 2019 will take place as planned. You’ll receive an invoice for payment 72 hours after the booking is completed.

Will I still be able to email Gaest.com after the site goes away?

Yes. We’ll be checking the info@gaest.com email address regularly before and after the transition.

Will I be able to view past bookings I’ve made as a host or a guest?

Until July 1st, you’ll be able to view all past bookings you’ve made on Gaest.com. You might want to print or save a copy of all your past transactions—this info won’t be available after July 1st, 2019.

What will happen to unconfirmed bookings that are supposed to take place after July 1st?

If you have a pending booking that is supposed to take place after July 1st, you won’t be able to access it using Gaest.com. We’ve emailed the users affected and provided them with the necessary contact info. If you have any questions, you can email as at info@gaest.com. find and book event spaces. Sign up for email updates and be the first to know when event spaces are ready to be booked on Airbnb.

Can new users sign up for Gaest.com?

As we wind things down, new users won’t be able to create accounts on Gaest.com. When we’re up and running on Airbnb, anyone with an Airbnb account will be able to find and book event spaces. Sign up for email updates and be the first to know when event spaces are ready to be booked on Airbnb.
